Mike Bobo draws ire of frustrated Georgia fan base as offense sputters

Mike Bobo is taking plenty of criticism on social media as Georgia and Missouri are tied at 10 at halftime.

Georgia, who remains without star tight end Brock Bowers, had a sluggish 1st half against Mizzou, managing just 50 yards on the ground on 16 carries. Carson Beck has thrown for a touchdown but has 115 yards on 10-of-17 passing.

The Bulldogs kicked a field goal on their opening drive and saw Beck connect with Dominic Lovett on the next drive, but that’s been it so far. They punted on the following 3 possessions, accumulating just 30 total yards.

Georgia probably won’t be completely out of the College Football Playoff picture if it loses to Missouri on Saturday. But it’ll need to pick things up in the 2nd half to avoid that from happening in the first place. Bobo’s playcalling has much to be desired against a Tigers team in the midst of its best season in years.
