The New York Giants were a surprise playoff team this year, earning a wildcard spot in Brian Daboll’s first year at the helm of the squad.

Now there are some major questions that need to be answered ahead of 2023, but one of them was indeed answered on Monday.

The future of former Miami and Georgia WR Lawrence Cager was settled, as the Giants announced they were re-signing the now tight end to a contract:

Cager signed with the Giants back in October after he was released by the New York Jets. He appeared in 6 regular-season games for the Giants, recording 13 catches for 118 yards and 1 touchdown. He had 2 receptions for 20 yards in the playoffs.

During his final year at Georgia in 2019, Cager had 33 catches for 476 yards and 4 scores.
