One of the toughest players to evaluate in the 2020 NFL Draft class is Georgia QB Jake Fromm.
Yes, he has won a lot of games, but his play fell off dramatically in 2019. He was getting first-round buzz coming into the 2019 season, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now.
This week, NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah named the ideal teams for each top QB prospect to go to, and as you can see below, he thinks the New Orleans Saints would be a great fit for the former Bulldog (via NFL.com):
I would love to see him sit and learn behind Drew Brees in New Orleans. Sean Payton has always valued the strengths in a quarterback like Fromm — smarts, accuracy and decision-making. If not the Saints, I could see the Colts or Raiders being a good landing spot for the Georgia product.
The Saints are indeed going to need a replacement for Brees in a couple of years. Could Fromm be that guy? We’ll find out what happens in April’s draft.
