Saturday figures to answer many unanswered questions about Georgia and LSU.

Can Georgia win in a hostile environment and prove it’s the No. 2 team in the country? Can LSU rebound from the loss against Florida and stay in the SEC Championship hunt?

Much is on the line in Baton Rouge, and Paul Finebaum already dropped his prediction Saturday morning on SportsCenter.

“I want to see if [Georgia] can get things back together offensively and defensively,” Finebaum said Saturday morning on ESPN. “They lost a lot of talent to the NFL. They had a really good game against South Carolina, but since then, they’ve haven’t been able to get out of their own way. They’re making a lot of fundamental mistakes. They’ll need to turn it today in Tiger Stadium, and I think they will.”

So, there you have it. Finebaum predicts that Georgia will stay unbeaten.

Saturday is a do-or-die situation for LSU, because with a loss Saturday, LSU won’t control its own destiny any longer, and a second loss all but eliminates it from a College Football Playoff appearance.

On paper and after watching LSU lose at the Swamp, Georgia should win this game, but LSU’s Tiger Stadium is a brutal environment to win.

We’re going to learn a lot about both teams Saturday, and the Playoff selection committee will certainly be watching.
