Rara Thomas is one of those wide receivers fans and media are looking for more from in the Georgia offense. As long as he keeps pulling in touchdown catches
Thomas helped the Bulldogs cap an impressive scoring drive of 7 plays — all passes — and 82 yards as the Mississippi State transfer put his talent on full display.
Thomas’ contribution also helped Georgia avoid yet another slow start, something that has become a topic of conversation among the fan base and media questions for Kirby Smart. The Bulldogs trailed early against South Carolina and Auburn, but this time led 14-0 with 3:34 left in the first quarter.
Thomas came into the game with 9 catches this season for 167 yards, but the 2 catches for 27 yards already matched his season high of grabs.

Thomas was expected to be a bright light for the Georgia offense this season after he last year appeared in 12 games, and started 7. He finished the season with 44 catches for 626 yards and 7 touchdowns, and most importantly caught the go-ahead 22-yard touchdown in win over Ole Miss.
