Former Georgia OL David Andrews has made a nice career for himself with the New England Patriots, playing on 2 Super Bowl-winning teams since going undrafted in 2015.

However, his 2019 season could be in doubt, due to a scary medical situation that was reported on Monday night.

Per reports, including the segment below from the NFL Network, Andrews has been hospitalized with a blood clot in his lung:

That is obviously a very scary medical situation, so football takes a back seat to his overall health in this situation.

Hopefully he’s able to return to full health soon, and the Patriots will certainly miss him when he’s away from the team.
