Last year, Georgia signed 4-star OL D’Antne Demery, but while he was visiting the G-Day game, he was involved in a domestic violence incident against his then-girlfriend.

The Bulldogs quickly cut ties with Demery, and he ended up playing at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas last season.

Now a Florida International signee, Demery has reached a plea deal, according to a report from OnlineAthens.com:

Demery plead guilty Tuesday in State Court to three misdemeanors: simple battery, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to property, according to online court records.

The Brunswick native admitted in an amended accusation that on April 22, 2017, he did “intentionally make physical contact of an insulting and provoking nature,” with the victim “by grabbing her and forcing her against the wall.”

Obviously, he blew his chance at Georgia, and don’t expect the Bulldogs to be going after him again anytime soon.

However, as part of his probation, he’ll have to return to the state if he violates any of the probation terms.
