Georgia has filled out its non-conference schedule for 2031 if the SEC sticks to the current model.

Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald reports that records show Georgia has added FCS program Western Carolina out of the Southern Conference to the 2031 schedule.

The game is scheduled for Sept. 6, in between two major out-of-conference contests. UGA is scheduled to open the 2031 campaign at Ohio State. The Bulldogs are also scheduled to play Oklahoma in Athens the week after the Western Carolina tune-up.

Georgia’s annual rivalry clash with Georgia Tech is also on the 2031 schedule. Assuming the current model of a 12-game regular-season schedule with eight SEC games is still used a decade from now, UGA is done scheduling for 2031.

Weiszer reports that Western Carolina is getting a $650,000 guarantee for the game.
