This offseason, Georgia needed to address its lack of impact players in the secondary.

The Bulldogs did that in a big way, picking up West Virginia DB Tykee Smith in the NCAA transfer portal.

But, according to a report from The Dominion Post, Smith still has some unfinished business in Morgantown. Per the report, Smith is being sued for nearly $8,000 for late rent and garbage fees on his apartment:

Dark Knight LLC, which owns Chateau Royale, sued Smith in Monongalia County Magistrate Court on June 3. According to the civil complaint, Smith “owes rent, late fees, yearly garbage.” It seeks $7,941 plus court costs.

Smith reportedly has until Aug. 8 to respond to the legal notice.
