The Indianapolis Colts have had the legendary Adam Vinatieri as their kicker since 2006. He’s now 47 years old, though, so it’s time for a replacement.

The Colts didn’t draft a kicker during the 2020 NFL Draft, but they did act quickly after the draft to sign one of the top kickers in the country.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Georgia’s Rodrigo Blankenship has signed with Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent:

Following the legend that was Vinatieri won’t be easy, but Blankenship showed at times that he can deliver in the clutch.

Blankenship made all 200 of his extra-point attempts at Georgia. He went 80-for-97 on field goals (82.5%).
