The Georgia Bulldogs have the No. 2 recruiting class in the 2019 cycle, but on Tuesday, their 2020 recruiting class took a hit.

According to a report from Rivals.com, 4-star DT Warren Brinson has backed off his pledge to the Bulldogs.

The report stated that one of the reasons Brinson decommitted was because Alabama and Oklahoma have recently extended scholarship offers to him:

On Tuesday evening, after picking up recent offers from Alabama and Oklahoma, among others, we have confirmed that he has backed off that pledge.

Brinson confirmed the news via his Twitter account later Tuesday evening:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Brinson is the No. 22 overall defensive tackle in the class of 2020 and the No. 40 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

The Bulldogs are down to three commitments in the 2020 class. Prior to his decommitment, the class ranked No. 5 in the SEC and No. 11 in the country, per 247Sports.
