Nadab Joseph’s recruitment was a bit of a whirlwind and now it appears those efforts may have to start all over again as the Miami defensive back is reportedly headed to the junior college ranks.

You may recall Joseph was once committed to LSU before backing off that pledge. It wasn’t long after that decision that he committed to Nick Saban and Alabama. Then during the first ever early signing period, Joseph flipped his commitment to Kirby Smart’s Georgia program and signed with the Bulldogs.

Despite those efforts by UGA, they appear to be in vain as Jeff Sentell of Dawg Nation is reporting that Joseph is headed to Independence Community College. According to Joseph’s mentor, the Miami recruit will begin classes at Independence CC this week and will remain there for the 2018 season.

This move will open Joseph back up on the recruiting trail and no longer ties him to Georgia, although he could, of course, resign with the Dawgs once his JUCO career comes to an end.

Joseph was ranked as a four-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting cycle, the No. 175 overall player and the No. 18 cornerback in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’ll likely now be among the top JUCO defensive prospects for the upcoming recruiting cycles once those rankings are released.
