Georgia has gotten off to a hot 2-0 start and is coming off a big road win over Notre Dame, but now the Bulldogs could be dealing with the absence of a star offensive player.

According to Macon.com, senior RB Sony Michel was limited during Tuesday’s practice, not going through individual drills despite being dressed in his practice gear.

This is perhaps not surprising, as Michel left the win over the Fighting Irish with what appeared to be an ankle injury, though the severity of it is unknown.

Michel carried the ball 13 times for 73 yards and a touchdown on Saturday, playing a big role in the Bulldogs’ 20-19 victory.

Georgia hosts Samford on Saturday night, so if Michel is still banged up at all, he’ll probably sit out for the Week 3 matchup. The Bulldogs will certainly need him back in action against Mississippi State in Week 4.
