Police searched the dorm room of Georgia linebackers Natrez Patrick and Roquan Smith after a resident assistant smelled marijuana, but neither were arrested, according to a report from DawgNation.com.

The incident occurred shortly after the Bulldogs’ 17-16 loss to Vanderbilt last Saturday.

The search “produced no marijuana of testable quantity,” according to the report, but Patrick told police he stashed pot in a fake can of Arizona Strawberry Tea. Police also found tobacco removed from Black N’ Mild cigars, multiple lighters and a “green smoke buddy” that hides the smell of marijuana.

Police claimed Smith was a visitor in Patrick’s dorm room. Patrick, however, was arrested for marijuana possession last year.

The sophomore linebackers are Georgia’s two leading tacklers, and it’s currently unclear what the discipline for the incident will be.
