Ric Flair sends message to Kirby Smart, says he’s rooting for Michigan in Orange Bowl
Through the years, professional wrestling icon Ric Flair has exhibited incredible support for the Georgia football program.
That won’t be the case on Friday, however, as Flair took to Twitter in a Michigan jersey to reveal that he would be pulling for the Wolverines in the Orange Bowl.
Flair apparently took exception to a previous interaction, or lack thereof, in Athens with Georgia coach Kirby Smart.
Sorry @KirbySmartUGA! You Should Have Shook My Hand On The Sidelines When I Was Standing Next To @HerschelWalker In Athens! Today, It’s All BLUE! @CoachJim4UM Has Been Shaking My Hand Since 1989! GO BLUE! @UMichFootball pic.twitter.com/lGJWdr33lV

The winner of the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup between the Bulldogs and Wolverines will advance to face either Alabama or Cincinnati for the national championship.
Georgia is a 7.5-point favorite against Michigan in the Orange Bowl, which will be televised by ESPN at 7:30 p.m. EST tonight.
