Sanford Stadium gets facelift
Georgia fans can look forward to some upgrades between the hedges this fall.
According to a University of Georgia press release, a new sound system has been installed to improve sound quality in all areas of Sanford Stadium, in addition to a strengthened cell phone signal inside the stadium and flat screen televisions around the stadium to enhance the viewing experience.
Schools league-wide have been battling the at-home experience in recent years, and Commissioner Mike Slive announced a committee to review the gamely experience at SEC Media Days last month.
Georgia opens their season at home against Clemson on August 30.
