Sedrick Van Pran is moving on from Georgia after his 4th season with the Bulldogs.

Van Pran has been the starting center at Georgia for the last 3 seasons, playing in 45 games over that time. He was named a first-team All-American by ESPN and Sports Illustrated and the recipient of the SEC Jacobs Blocking Trophy.

Here’s what he had to say about the move in his farewell Instagram post:

“To the University of Georgia, Thank You! You have given a kid from New Orleans a chance to live his dreams. I can not tell you how much this university will forever mean to me,” Van Pran wrote on Instagram. “My brothers who I have played with, we have been through so much! Thank you all for always having my back and being family. To my coaches I thank you for allowing me the opportunity to grow, I was never perfect but I was given the room to become and better man and person! … Finally, to God… you are the reason I am here. I am so grateful for you! I can’t wait to see what your next steps for me are!”

The Georgia center ended his career in Athens with a big win over Florida State in the Orange Bowl. The Bulldogs beat the Seminoles 63-3 to cap off a 13-win season in 2023.
