UGA leads the Yellow Jackets 17-7 at halftime. The Dawgs’ defense is playing well against the Yellow Jackets’ offense, and if not for a muffed punt by Dominick Blaylock, GT likely wouldn’t have any points.

However, hidden in that score, Jake Fromm and the passing game has struggled yet again, and it’s been a reoccurring theme in 2019. Fromm finished just 8-of-17 for 105 yards and one touchdown in the first half. Three receivers caught passes in Tyler Simmons, Charlie Woerner (tight end) and Demetris Robertson. Fromm overthrew a wide open Simmons for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Lawrence Cager is out with an injury, and George Pickens didn’t even play in the first half.

Yes, UGA will likely win this game; however, there are still big concerns with the passing game ahead of the SEC Championship showdown against LSU.
