Social media reacts to Georgia's struggling offense after UK win
Saturday was a struggle for offenses in the Georgia-Kentucky game.
Yes, Georgia won 14-3 and improved to 4-1 overall, but its offense, particularly in the passing game, is still struggling mightily with Stetson Bennett at quarterback. Bennett finished 9-of-13 for 131 yards, no touchdowns and 2 INTs. That’s now thrown 5 INTs in his last 2 games, and folks are growing restless.
It didn’t take much to beat Kentucky Saturday, because the Wildcats’ offense was basically inept, but that won’t be the case next week against the Florida Gators’ high-octane offense.
This type of offense won’t cut it against even an average opponent with an offense. The rushing attack controlled the line of scrimmage against UK, and Zamir White rushed for a career-high 136 yards. It wasn’t all bad, but it was badly one-dimensional.
Social media was quick to call out Georgia’s struggling offense:
If this is the offense that Georgia is going run and be, than doesn’t Mathis fit better in it? 2 becomes a bigger threat with his legs. Opens up more run lanes and can throw screens.

It’s too bad we have no pass game or offense because Stetson Bennett is not good at all
This is a beatable Georgia team with a capable offense

Obviously just a horrific play all around there from the Georgia offense.

This offense is worst now than when we had Joe Cox at QB

Mizzou’s offense is better than Georgia’s.

Georgia will never win the big games playing like this. The offense has gotten so vanilla to play to Stetson’s comfort level. It’s so dull.

I love the Stetson Bennett story, but Georgia needs to give JT Daniels a shot. They aren’t beating any of the top 3 teams the way this offense is playing.

Wow I’m so glad that 10 months later I can still say I hate watching Georgia’s offense. https://t.co/T7JUnuFcNr

Georgia has the worst offense in the SEC, and it’s not close
