Stetson Bennett got to show off his arm strength from the mound on Thursday night.

The former Georgia quarterback threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Atlanta Braves 2023 home opener.

The Braves are back at Truist Park after going 5-1 at Washington and St. Louis to open the 2023 season. Atlanta is hosting the San Diego Padres for a 4-game series.

Bennett and the Braves have given sports fans in Georgia a lot to celebrate over the past 2 years. Atlanta started the party in 2021 with a World Series win, the franchise’s first since 1995. Bennett led the Bulldogs to back-to-back national championships for the 2021 and ’22 seasons.

Bennett has been gearing up for the 2023 NFL Draft, which begins in 3 weeks.
