With nearly all the Class of 2016 top prospects signed and delivered, all eyes are on five-star wide receiver Demetris Robertson.

Robertson, ranked 14th overall by the 247Sports Composite rankings, announced he would back his signing and continue his recruitment beyond signing day. But things have gone quiet in the past few days as the Savannah, Ga., prospect waits for his next move.

Here are a few things to know about Robertson’s current situation.

Robertson is down to six schools

He lists Alabama, Cal, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame and Stanford as his finalists. Not in that order. Notre Dame seemed to be in a real good spot had Robertson decided on signing day. He didn’t, and other programs are trending up.

Thursday is a big day

It’s been a few days since anything has been written about Robertson and for good reason. According to a report from Dawgnation, Robertson is likely to receive his updated SAT scores Thursday. The report states he needs to improve his score by roughly 100 points to be considered a qualifier by Stanford’s academic standards. He can’t even take an official visit to Stanford without the school’s admissions granting him qualifier status.

(Side note: What an amazing rule. If all schools had to wait for a recruit to be green lit as a qualifier before taking an official visit that could really change the recruiting game.)

Decision might not come until March

It’s unlikely Robertson will take an official visit anywhere this week regardless of the SAT score. He has taken official visits to Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and California, which gives him two remaining visits. Assuming he gets the test score number, Stanford would get one, leaving the other to Alabama or Georgia. Robertson has scheduled officials to Alabama on two occasions (Jan. 22 and Jan. 31) but apparently didn’t make the trip either time.

Robertson values post-football life

Most of the off-the-field recruiting pitches for Robertson surround the value of that school’s degree and how that will help him in the job world. Schools like Notre Dame, Cal and Stanford will push their national alumni and surely mention the many executives of global entities who are graduates of the school. Georgia and Georgia Tech will push how strong a degree will help with networking in a state that’s experienced rapid growth.

Current predictions

On the 247Sports.com’s Crystal Ball predictions, Notre Dame holds a slim lead over Georgia at 45 percent to 40 percent, with Alabama receiving 10 percent and Stanford receiving 5 percent.
