Fox Sports analyst Tim Brando had a lot of thoughts after a full slate of college football on Saturday, and his thoughts aren’t going to make Georgia fans happy.

Brando said that the Bulldogs have ‘no business’ being at No. 1 after Auburn took Georgia down to the wire. AP Poll voters disagreed with him, however, with Georgia still sitting at No. 1 in the newest poll.

Next week will be a good measuring stick for where the Bulldogs stand as they take on a Kentucky team that is coming off a complete routing of Florida on Saturday.

Speaking of Kentucky, Brando also believes that the Wildcats are the 2nd best team in the SEC East behind Georgia. If the Wildcats can compete with Georgia next week, they likely will prove that to be true, but there is still a long season ahead of them.

Brando also had some thoughts on a few SEC defense, making note of the lack of defense in the Ole Miss vs. LSU game, that yielded 104 total points and saw the Rebels come out on top. He also said that South Carolina looks like a solid team, but the defenses lapses are holding them back. The Gamecocks gave up 41 points in the loss to Tennessee.

He mentioned that the SEC West is looking wide open and believes a 2-loss team could take the title.

Brando holds strong in his take that Texas is the best team in the country, and the Longhorns showed their worth in a dominant win over Kansas. Texas has a tough one ahead of it against Oklahoma next week.
