Tim Tebow shares his thoughts on Georgia's QB situation heading into Auburn game
The Georgia Bulldogs got off to a slow start offensively against Arkansas in Week 1. They can’t afford to do the same thing this weekend against Auburn.
So, now that QB JT Daniels has been cleared to play, will he start? Or, will we see last week’s hero, Stetson Bennett IV? Or, could D’Wan Mathis get another chance?
During an Instagram Live session this week, SEC Network host Tim Tebow shared his thoughts on what the Bulldogs should do (via 247Sports):
“I think it’s gonna be Stetson Bennett and maybe JT Daniels, depending how ready he is,” Tebow said. “The thing is, is when you don’t have a fall camp, like that we can’t see practices, we don’t know how healthy he is. OK he’s cleared to play that’s one thing, is he ready for a game? That’s another. … “I think there’s a decent shot that we probably see both, though.”
Daniels wasn’t cleared to play last week as he continues to recover from a knee injury suffered at USC last year. How healthy is he this week?
Don’t expect coach Kirby Smart to name a starter before kickoff. We’ll have to wait until Saturday night to see who gets the start for the Bulldogs, it seems.
