Todd Gurley isn’t hiding the fact he’s proud to be back home.

The all-time great Georgia running back was unfortunately released by the Los Angeles Rams this offseason due to his incredibly high cap figure but everything happens for a reason and now Gurley has returned to the Peach State after landing a free agent deal with the Atlanta Falcons.

Outside of landing a player that has been named All-Pro on multiple occasions, the Falcons really lucked out as the Rams will be paying Gurley more than Atlanta will for his play during the 2020 season.

During his time in Athens, Gurley rushed for 3,285 yards and 36 touchdowns with a combined 3,900 yards from scrimmage and 42 overall touchdowns for the Bulldogs in three seasons. He likely would have had a lot more if not for some injuries and a suspension that cost him several games of action during his college career.

Following his college career, Gurley was the 10th overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft. He’s rushed for 5,404 yards and 58 touchdowns with 218 catches for 2,090 yards and 12 touchdowns so far in his NFL career.

To celebrate his return to the Peach State, Gurley recently shared the following hype video, which was originally created by Roc Nation Sports:
