Todd McShay explains why James Cook is 'most underrated RB' in 2022 NFL Draft
Todd McShay is one of ESPN’s college football analysts and a top NFL Draft analyst for the network.
He’s watching the Orange Bowl beatdown Georgia is putting on Michigan, and he’s clearly impressed with the efforts of Georgia RB James Cook.
As you can see below, McShay took to Twitter to say Cook is the “most underrated RB” in the 2022 NFL Draft class:
UGA’s James Cook is the most underrated RB in the 2022 draft class. He may never be the every-down starter for an NFL team but he’s such a versatile weapon. Love his vision and twitch as a runner and he’s a legit receiving threat in the slot and out of backfield.

McShay says Cook might not be an every-down guy at the next level, but lauds his ability to make big plays in both the running and passing games.
If Cook decides to go out for the draft, we’ll see where he gets taken. First, though, he’s going to try to end his Georgia career with a national championship.
