Georgia recently hired a new offensive coordinator in Todd Monken. Monken comes to Georgia after serving as the Browns offensive coordinator last season, and he was hired to modernize the Bulldogs passing attack. He previously served as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coordinator for three seasons, too.

According to 247Sports’ Jake Rowe, Monken will be making $1.1 million as the Dawgs offensive coordinator in 2020. According to USA Today’s assistant coaches salary database, Monken’s compensation would rank among the top 15 in the nation. The highest paid offensive coordinator in the country is Alabama’s Steve Sarkisian, who made $1.55 million in 2019.

Monken also has plenty of college experience as he was previously Southern Miss’ head coach and served as an assistant at Oklahoma State, LSU, Louisiana Tech, Eastern Michigan, Notre Dame and Grand Valley State.

UGA will feature a new starting quarterback in 2020, and the offense is expected to change. Former coordinator James Coley, who made $950,000 in 2019, still remains on staff despite being demoted from the coordinator position.

247Sports also reported that UGA’s new quality control analyst Buster Faulkner will make $150,000 salary.
