Travon Walker was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, going to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Now, the former Georgia pass rusher will join last year’s No. 1 pick, QB Trevor Lawrence, in Jacksonville to try to turn around the fortunes of the ailing franchise.

On Thursday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Walker had agreed to terms with the Jaguars on his first NFL contract. Per Schefter, Walker will receive a 4-year, fully guaranteed contract worth more than $37 million:

Walker was one of 5 Georgia defenders to go in Round 1 of the draft this year, along with Jordan Davis, Quay Walker, Devonte Wyatt and Lewis Cine.

We’ll see if Walker can become an immediate star in Jacksonville this fall.
