Trent Dilfer is expecting to experience an environment better than the Super Bowl when his UAB team plays Georgia on Saturday night.

When Dilfer met with the media during the week, he expressed how excited he was to make the trip to play the Bulldogs.

“I’ve never played in anything like this,” Dilfer said. “It’s better than the Super Bowl.. Their slogan.. ‘It Just Means More’.. it’s true!”

It goes without saying, but this will by far be the most hostile environment Milroe has played in.

UAB will look to return to the right side of the win column on Saturday after the program fell 41-21 to the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, though that is obviously a tall (and incredibly unlikely order) going up against the most dominant force college football has to offer.

Dilfer’s squad dropped the contest before that as well, 49-35 to Georgia Southern on the road.

Georgia remains undefeated so far through the 2023 season, recording its latest victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks, 24-14. Before that, the Bulldogs defeated UT Martin and Ball State.

The two teams are set to face one another at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Athens.
