Former Georgia cornerback Tyson Campbell recorded his first interception of his NFL career on Sunday.

Campbell did so against one of the best quarterbacks in his generation. Campbell, who now plays cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, jumped in front of what looked like an out route to pick off Atlanta Falcon’s quarterback Matt Ryan.

Big things are expected of Campbell since he was selected with the No. 33 overall pick in April. That was the beginning of the second round.

Campbell’s interception on Sunday matches the number of interceptions that he had during his entire career at Georgia. College teams must have feared Campbell. He only had 5 passes broken up last season at Georgia, which means he wasn’t targeted often.
