The latest episode in Georgia Football’s ‘Beneath The Helmet’ series focuses on running back Keith Marshall, a former five-star recruit whose battled injuries throughout his career including a two-year rehab stint from a torn ACL suffered at Tennessee in 2013.

“When I got hit, I knew right away something was wrong,” Marshall says during the video. “After I got on the bench, it didn’t really hit until I talked to my mom on the phone and I heard in her voice how devastated she was.”

As a freshman in 2012, Marshall rushed for 759 yards and was named the Bulldogs’ newcomer of the year. In last week’s opener with rehab complete, Marshall scored two touchdown and picked up 73 yards on the ground in limited action.

Marshall said recently that he will wait until after the season to decide if he’ll return for a final redshirt campaign.
