WATCH: Aaron Schunk launches first-career grand slam to help Georgia rout FAU 13-0
The Georgia Bulldogs fell in their Athens regional on Saturday, losing to No. 3 seed Florida State 12-3. That set up an elimination game on Sunday afternoon against No. 2 seed Florida Atlantic.
The Bulldogs came through in a big way to avoid elimination and keep their season alive, winning 13-0 to set up a rematch with Florida State on Sunday night.
As you can see below, Georgia junior Aaron Schunk’s first-career grand slam provided the finishing touch on the massive victory:

Junior RHP Tim Elliott came through when his team needed him most, too, throwing a complete-game shutout against the Owls to save the rest of the Georgia pitching staff for the rematch with FSU.
If the Bulldogs win the first game, it’ll set up a winner-take-all showdown on Monday night with a spot in the super regionals on the line.
Wow. FAU was the 2 seed and they were terrible. UGA didn’t even have to go to their pen. This did FSU no favors, but I still hope they can sneak one in.
Losing to FSU sounds familiar.
You know losers up close and personal it seems, especially looking in mirrors.
I’m a Georgia fan. Who among us doesn’t know losers inside and out?
Well, well, baseball season is over in Athens and the decks are cleared now for football. Count the days!
Time to get the pads on and go to work!
Go Dawgs!!!
Nice
