WATCH: Leonard Floyd gets penalty for full-on suplexing Miami receiver

Someone should have reminded Chicago Bears LB Leonard Floyd that he’s a football player, not a professional wrestler.
During the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, the former Georgia star picked up Miami WR Danny Amendola and suplexed him to the ground.
Obviously, Floyd drew a penalty flag for the tackle, which you can see in the video below:

Amendola’s forward progress was stopped, so there was no need for Floyd to literally pick him up, flip him over and then slam him to the turf.
That cost the Bears 15 yards, but at least Floyd now has a highlight he can show off if he ever wants to try his hand at wrestling.
