It took former Georgia RB Sony Michel a while to find a rhythm with the New England Patriots, but now the first-round 2018 draft pick is coming into his own.

On Sunday, he was a big part of the Patriots’ offense in the first half of the AFC Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Chargers, helping his team take a 35-7 lead into the intermission. Through the first two quarters of his playoff debut, Michel has rushed for 105 yards and a whopping three touchdowns.

On the Patriots’ first drive, Michel finished it off with an easy touchdown to get things started:

The second touchdown featured some of Michel’s trademark speed on the edge:

And he added a third touchdown of the first half for good measure:

The game still has two quarters left, so Michel may not be done just yet. However, if the Pats continue to dominate, Michel could get a bit of rest heading into the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City next weekend.
