Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs took care of business on Saturday against Tennessee Tech, as the Bulldogs won 48-3.

The defense was outstanding, holding the Golden Eagles to only 18 passing yards and 134 total yards of offense.

Quarterback Carson Beck threw for 242 yards and tied a school record with 5 touchdowns. He did a great job of spreading the ball out, as 5 different receivers caught a score.

After the game, Kirby Smart had a lot of positives after his team’s performance, including his quarterback’s record-setting performance.

“I don’t think I have seen him throw it like he has the last two games,” Smart told reporters after the game. “He’s truly grown, he’s a better player.”

The defense was also a big-talking point of his interaction with the media, as the Bulldogs have given up only six points this year.

Smart told reporters that the team will be in for a huge challenge next week, as the Bulldogs travel to Lexington to take on Kentucky.

“I think of a team we have went up there and thought that it was easy,” Smart said. “I don’t think people know and respect what a win at Kentucky is.”

Kickoff between the Bulldogs and Wildcats will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
