The College Football Playoff has absolutely delivered so far.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart heads to the half with his team trailing No. 4 Ohio State 28-24. The Buckeyes leapt to a 21-7 lead early before Georgia stormed back and took a 24-21 lead. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Ohio State answered right back just before the half.

Stetson Bennett, Georgia’s veteran QB and Heisman finalist, is 12-18 with 191 passing yards, 1 touchdown and an interception so far. Smart talked to Bennett before the half about how to better attack Ohio State’s secondary moving forward.

The Bulldogs will need the best football their veteran can muster in the final 30 minutes.

“Just settle down,” Smart said about what he told Bennett. “We tried to show him some aggression and maturity and let him go on second down and try and throw the ball and he held the ball a long time and threw it high over the middle… So, we’re going to need him to win it. So, he’s got to know to throw and catch it.”

The winner of the Peach Bowl plays TCU in the National Championship game. The Horned Frogs downed No. 2 Michigan, previously undefeated, to advance to the final game of the season.

Georgia is looking to repeat as National Champs. Do Bennett and the Bulldogs have what it takes?
