The Georgia softball season is underway, and on Saturday afternoon, the Bulldogs hosted SEC foe South Carolina.
That game went to the bottom of the ninth inning with the score tied 5-5. Georgia got runners on second and third with 1 out when a crazy finish ensued.
As you can see below, the Georgia batter grounded the ball back to the pitcher. Then, the runner on third was caught in a rundown. However, an errant throw allowed her to score, sealing a 6-5 victory for the Dawgs:
WHAT A WILD ENDING!!!! An error on a rundown allows Armistead to score and Georgia WINS!! #RingTheBell ???

The Bulldogs escaped with the win and that’s a tough way for the Gamecocks to lose.
Georgia improved to 21-5 with the win. The 2 squads will play again on Sunday.
