Will Muschamp, Georgia’s co-defensive coordinator and former Florida and South Carolina head coach, remembers Georgia’s Citrus Bowl win over Ohio State in 1993 vividly.
On Tuesday morning, ahead of Georgia’s Peach Bowl battle against Ohio State, Muschamp took a playful jab at former Ohio State QB and current College GameDay host and ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit. Muschamp played for the Bulldogs as a safety and saw Herbstreit throw a pass across the room at a luncheon.
Safe to say he wasn’t impressed.

“We had a luncheon. Herbstreit got up & threw a pass across the room & I knew we had a shot to win. Make sure he knows I said that.”pic.twitter.com/kLRwKSPjt9

Georgia went on to win 21-14.
Georgia is the favorite this time around, too. The Bulldogs are the No. 1 team in the country for a reason, downing LSU, Tennessee and Oregon in dominant fashion.
Will Ohio State be next?
