The Kentucky Wildcats have been focusing on quality over quantity for their 2020 recruiting class so far, but on Wednesday that class took a big hit.

That’s because 4-star DT Lamar Goods, a Connecticut native, decided to re-open his recruitment and decommit from the Wildcats.

As you can see below, the 6-4, 290-pound defender announced via Twitter that he was leaving Kentucky’s recruiting class:

Per the 247Sports composite, Goods is the No. 30 defensive tackle in the class of 2020 and the No. 4 overall recruit from the state of Connecticut.

The Wildcats are now down to seven players in their 2020 class, which currently ranks No. 43 nationally and No. 14 in the SEC, per 247Sports.

Goods recently visited Florida, and on his 247Sports page, all four Crystal Ball votes have him going to the Gators next.
