Kentucky’s recruiting efforts are starting to heat up as the Wildcats recently landed their second commitment this month and sixth pledge for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

The latest commitment landed by Mark Stoops’ staff comes from Euclid, Ohio native Armond Scott, who committed to Kentucky on Sunday evening. Scott commits to Kentucky over scholarship offers from Boston College, Michigan State, Miami of Ohio, Toledo and Yale.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Scott is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 85 receiver in the nation and the No. 19 overall prospect from Ohio in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. With Scott joining Kentucky’s current recruiting class, the Wildcats now have the SEC’s No. 11-ranked recruiting class for 2021.

Scott announced his pledge to Kentucky on Twitter:

“Proud to say that I am officially committed to the University of Kentucky.#BBN #LLKuddy”
