Running back Benny Snell further etched his name into Kentucky football history Saturday during the Citrus Bowl.

Snell broke the Kentucky all-time rushing yards record in the third quarter on a TD run, nonetheless. His TD put the Wildcats up 27-7 heading into the fourth quarter. Through three quarters, Snell has 114 rushing yards and two TDs.

Snell’s story from being a 3-star overlooked prospect to one of the best Kentucky football players of all time is remarkable. The talented back already announced that he would leave school early and enter the NFL Draft.
