Big Blue upset! Reaction as Kentucky beats Florida in Lexington for first time since 1986

You’d have to go back 35 years to find the last time the Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Florida Gators in Lexington. On Saturday, the Wildcats rolled the clock back as they upset the No. 10 Gators, 20-13, at Kroger Field.
Kentucky last beat Florida 27-16 in Gainesville in 2018 to end a 31-game losing streak in the series, but with their victory over the Gators, they’ll certainly find themselves in the Top 25 ahead of their game against LSU on Oct. 9.
And the crowd in Lexington made it tough on the Gators offense, who was flagged for 8 false start penalties on the evening. At the end of the day, it’s a massive win for the Wildcats, who improve to 5-0.
Here’s a sampling of some of the reaction on social media after a historic evening in the Bluegrass State:
AND LEXINGTON IS ABOUT TO BURN TO THE GROUND!!!!! The cats beat the gators at home for the first time since 1986!!!!!!!

Okay, I guess Kentucky is better than I thought.
And Florida isn't as good as I thought (I was calling them the 3rd best in the country, but now I guess not).

Florida lost to Kentucky. Remember when that used to only happen every 30 years?

When Mark Stoops took over, Kentucky was the sixth best team in the SEC ahead of only Vandy. We passed South Carolina, Tennessee, Mizzou, and now we have won two of four against Florida. We’re still going up.
Go cats. #bbn
