Chris “The Bear” Fallica, a researcher and personality for ESPN’s “College GameDay TV,” has high hopes for the Kentucky Wildcats in the SEC East.

Fallica expressed his wishes for the popular pregame show to be in Lexington on Nov. 19 when the Wildcats host Georgia. But for that to happen, Fallica might need Kentucky to do something for the first time in 72 times.

“I hope they’re undefeated so we get to Lexington for the Georgia game,” Fallica said on a podcast, “Stanford Steve and The Bear.” “I want 10-0 (Kentucky) hosting Georgia on November 19th. We’ll see you at Kroger Field.”

Kentucky has only won 10 or more games 4 times in program history. Current head coach Mark Stoops had led the Wildcats to two 10-win seasons, finishing 10-3 in 2018 and 2021.

Previous to that the Wildcats went 10-1 in 1977 under Fran Curci.

But the only time Kentucky ran off 10 straight wins to start a season was in 1950 when the Wildcats went 11-1 and won a National Championship after beating No. 1 Oklahoma 13-7 in the 1951 Sugar Bowl.

The head coach of that historic team? Paul “Bear” Bryant.

It will be interesting to see if Fallica gets his wish.
