Cutter Boley, a 4-star QB recruit out of Lexington, Kentucky, has announced a commitment to play in the SEC.

Boley announced a commitment to Kentucky while sitting with his family at a table and announcement at his school, including custom shoes of all of his finalists. He picked up a few of the shoes before he unveiled a UK shirt. Boley reportedly reclassified from 2025 to 2024 ahead of the announcement, and is expected to enroll at UK in January.

Boley’s finalists were Tennessee, Florida State, Penn State and Michigan. Others in the mix were Alabama, Oregon, Miami, TCU and Notre Dame. He attends Lexington Christian Academy and listed at 6-foot-5, 203 pounds.

Boley is ranked as the No. 72 overall player and the No. 6 quarterback in the country for 2025, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of Kentucky. He would have been the Wildcats’ 1st pledge in the class of 2025.

Boley is the highest-ranked quarterback prospect to choose the Wildcats since Drew Barker a decade ago, according to 247Sports.
