Darian Kinnard has been a big part of Kentucky’s offensive line the past couple of years, anchoring a unit that finished as a finalist for the Joe Moore Award (given annually to the nation’s top offensive line) in 2021.

He’s received some buzz as a possible first-round pick in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

And, on Tuesday, Kinnard took to Twitter to reveal that he would indeed declare for April’s draft instead of returning to school:

Kinnard and the Wildcats’ offensive line paved the way for Chris Rodriguez Jr. and a rushing attack that averaged just a shade under 200 yards per game this past season.

If he performs well at his Pro Day and at the NFL Combine, there’s no reason he can’t work his way into Round 1 of the draft this year.
