Darrion Henry-Young, Ohio State transfer DL, announces SEC destination
Darrion Henry-Young, who entered the transfer portal from Ohio State last month, has announced that he’s transferring to Kentucky.
Henry-Young redshirted in 2020, and is a former 4-star defensive line prospect from Cincinnati, Ohio made just one tackle in 4 games for the Buckeyes over the last 2 seasons. He made 2 appearances in 2020, and the 6-foot-4 and 265-pounder made 18 snaps in the second half of blowout wins over Tulsa and Akron in September.
Henry-Young posted on social media that he enjoyed a recent visit to Kentucky.
Henry-Young theoretically has 4 years to play 4 seasons. He’s the latest addition for the Wildcats this offseason, after Kentucky has added Auburn offensive lineman transfer Tashawn Manning and Virginia Tech wide receiver Tayvion Robinson since the regular season.
