Demie Sumo-Karngbaye is having quite the day for the Kentucky Wildcats.

The running back is already responsible for two of the team’s scores in the first half of the Week 4 contest against the Ohio Bobcats– and it isn’t even over yet.

Sumo-Karngbaye’s first score came on a 2-yard rush less than 1 minute into the second quarter, while his next trip to the end zone came in the form of 2-yard run with just over 4 minutes remaining in the half.

So far in this game, Sumo-Karngbaye totals 11 rushing yards on 6 carries with 2 touchdowns. He finished out Kentucky’s previous game, the narrow 13-12 loss to Georgia, as perhaps the most essential piece on offense the Wildcats had in almost pulling an upset.

The rusher was just shy of the century mark in that one, posting 98 yards on the ground on 22 carries.

He’ll look to build upon that as the play in this one continues. Kentucky holds a strong 17-0 lead and all of the momentum heading into the locker room at halftime.
