The Kentucky Wildcats will try to replace starting QB Stephen Johnson next year, as the senior is preparing for his final college game in the upcoming Music City Bowl.

Former starter Drew Barker will be in the mix to start in 2018, but now so will an elite JUCO quarterback who committed to the Wildcats on Sunday.

As you can see in the tweet below, Terry Wilson Jr. announced he’d be playing for Kentucky next season on Twitter on Sunday afternoon:

According to the 247Sports composite, Wilson is the No. 3 dual-threat JUCO quarterback in the country and the No. 13 overall JUCO recruit from Oklahoma.

Wilson played for the Garden City Community College Busters in Kansas this year. He had also drawn interest from Florida and other schools.

Whether he wins the starting job for the Wildcats next year or not remains to be seen, but he’ll certainly be in the mix to replace Johnson.
