Former Kentucky coach Rick Pitino mocks ACC additions of Stanford, Cal
Former Kentucky coach Rick Pitino isn’t shy about speaking out on the topic of conference realignment. In August, Pitino posted on social media that college football programs should form leagues separate from their conferences, citing travel concerns in other sports. There has been a new round of realignment, and Pitino has found time to weigh in.
It won’t be much longer before the Bluegrass State is up and running with a mouthwatering DraftKings Kentucky Promo Code. In the meantime, Kentucky sports bettors looking to edge the competition can pre-register with DraftKings Kentucky Sportsbook en route to a tremendous $200 Pre-Launch Bonus.
Pitino’s latest post mocks his old conference, the ACC, for adding Stanford and Cal. The current St. John’s coach joked that his current conference, the Big East, should add teams from Greece since it would only be a 9-hour flight from New York.
It’s great that the ACC has added Stanford and Cal. I hear the Big East is looking to add teams from Panathinaikos & Olympiacos – it’s only a nine hour flight ?♂️??
