Former Kentucky DL announces transfer commitment to Big Ten program

Former Kentucky DL Jamarius Dinkins is headed up the road to play Big Ten football.
Dinkins took to social media on Sunday to announce his commitment to Purdue. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Dinkins spent 3 seasons at UK playing for Mark Stoops. In the portal, he also picked up offers from Vanderbilt, Memphis, Miami (Ohio), Boston College, Liberty, Georgia Tech and Michigan State.

Dinkins saw the most playing time of his career in 2023. He made 11 appearances off the bench, recording 9 total tackles, including 4 for loss, and 2 QB hurries.
In 2022, Dinkins played in 9 games. He recorded 9 total tackles, including 1 sack.
Dinkins redshirted his first season on campus, making 3 appearances for the Wildcats in the 2021 season.
Dinkins was rated 3-stars on the 247Sports Composite coming out of Walnut Ridge as a Class of 2021 prospect. He signed with Kentucky over scholarship offers from 12 other programs.
