When Kentucky freshman Tyler Herro stepped to the free-throw line with the Wildcats up by four in the closing seconds of Saturday’s game against Wofford, gamblers had to be feeling pretty good.

The line was either Kentucky -5 or Kentucky -5.5, depending on when you got it, and Herro has made 94 percent of his free throws this season.

Indeed, the talented freshman stepped to the line and knocked down both to not only extend the Wildcats’ lead, but also to cover the spread. Fans at the Mirage casino in Las Vegas appreciated Herro’s efforts:

Herro has now made 66 of his 67 free throws since Christmas, so he’s as close to a sure thing as there is from the charity stripe.

Now, he has some very happy gamblers who will be singing his praises this week.
